Also a graduating Computer Science student, Diego specializes in front-end development and user experience. He has led the design of EasyParking's user-friendly interface and shares the commuter student perspective, having faced the same parking challenges daily.
What really sets us apart isn’t just our technical or business skills, it’s our perspective. We’re both commuter students, and we’ve been dealing with this issue every day for the past three years. That gives us an edge. Because we’re not guessing at the problem, we’re living it. And we’re building EasyParking the way we wish it existed when we started at URI.
We also come from different backgrounds, Dominican and Mexican, and being bilingual helps us think more inclusively as we grow and look toward reaching more communities.
